Spies in disguise our latest Hollywood movie was released on 25 December 2020. Let’s check if this movie with star voice cast is worth to be added in the celebration plan for the new year Eve or we should wait for the Blu Ray release or for the release on the streaming platforms.

Let’s talk about it’s plot we have two different characters a Super spy Lance Sterling and scientist Walter Beckett they are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is not. But what Walter lacks in social skills he makes up for in smarts and invention, creating the awesome gadgets Lance uses on his epic missions. But when events take an unexpected turn, Walter and Lance suddenly have to rely on each other in a whole new way. And if this odd couple can’t learn to work as a team, the whole world is in peril.

Well the stakes are high with star voice cast having Will Smith and Tom Holland. The movie has a not so unique or original storyline but it’s weird way to deliver the story and good voice acting coupled with action packed visual, and good humor makes it a best nominee for a entertaining family viewing. The plot and storyline may prove bit rusty because you will see two different people coming together to save the world, they separates their way but gets together later ignoring their differences(I think that ok but have faith no spoilers ahead) but again it’s get completely compensated by other good aspects. Again tomfoolery in this movie and slapstick jokes may prove tiring for you but again it depends on your taste, like all the recent animated movies it also plays on the pop culture mentions, hiring music stars to voice. Keeping in mind the kind of animated movies we got this year it’s more tolerable and enjoyable, maybe you can feel it as a lost opportunity as the movie never tries to stand out from it’s comfort zone.

The movie so far har 6.3 rating on IMDB and again an impressive 62 rating on rotten tomatoes which has certified it fresh. To conclude, it’s worthy to be given a chance and or better it won’t disappoint you.
